About the position

The Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all back of house functions in the store, ensuring efficient operational processes, and achieving performance goals related to inventory control and housekeeping. This role involves leading a team, managing merchandise processing, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the operational process and support operations functions related to inventory control.
• Plan ahead and properly prep the receiving area for expected merchandise.
• Assign associate roles during the receiving and merchandise processing/prepping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards for the receiving area and stockroom.
• Develop and work from a daily prioritized workload plan.
• Process transfers, returns to vendors, damages, and mark out of stock merchandise in partnership with Asset Protection.
• Lead maintenance tasks including light bulb and ceiling tile replacement.
• Bail cardboard and prepare plastic for recycling.
• Ensure cleanliness of the sales floor and receiving area after processing on truck days.
• Housekeeping responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of restrooms, associate lounge, and office areas.
• Support Omni functions in the store including picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
• Open and close the store, including weekends.
• Approve select point of sale transactions such as returns and voids.
• Resolve customer service issues as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to read and adhere to all policy and procedure manuals.
