About the position

As an Operations Technician at Williams, you will play a crucial role in supporting pipeline operations and maintaining facility equipment. This position involves a variety of tasks including reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning, contributing to the company's mission of making clean energy happen.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect and supervise equipment to maintain operational and technical standards.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with team members to resolve technical or operational problems.
  • Follow company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of site, equipment, permits, and compliance requirements.
  • Complete assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 3 years of experience as an operations technician or in a similar role, depending on the level (I, II, or III).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
  • Knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Technical degree or certification in a related field.
