About the position
As an Operations Technician at Williams, you will play a crucial role in supporting pipeline operations and maintaining facility equipment. This position involves a variety of tasks including reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Inspect and supervise equipment to maintain operational and technical standards.
- Analyze data and collaborate with team members to resolve technical or operational problems.
- Follow company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of site, equipment, permits, and compliance requirements.
- Complete assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months to 3 years of experience as an operations technician or in a similar role, depending on the level (I, II, or III).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
- Knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Technical degree or certification in a related field.
