About the position

As an Operations Technician at Williams, you will play a crucial role in supporting pipeline operations and maintaining facility equipment. This position involves a variety of tasks including reading and interpreting technical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and analyzing data to resolve technical issues. Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting/supervising equipment.
• Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems.
• Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
• Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
• Maintain general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance.
• Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Nice-to-haves

• Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry.
