About the position

As an Operations Technician at Williams, you will play a crucial role in supporting pipeline operations and maintaining facility equipment. This position involves a variety of tasks including reading and interpreting technical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and analyzing data to resolve technical issues. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning, providing an opportunity to grow within a company committed to clean energy and employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings and inspecting/supervising equipment.
  • Responsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problems.
  • Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Acquire knowledge of and adhere to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
  • Maintain general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and compliance.
  • Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient/advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry.
