About the position

The Operations Technology Person (OTP) is responsible for the repair and maintenance of technology equipment across eight restaurants. This role involves troubleshooting POS technology issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring optimal functionality of equipment. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability to accommodate late evening or early morning upgrades and will be required to communicate effectively about technology issues and needs.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain technology equipment in eight restaurants.
  • Perform self-installs and OS upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot POS technology issues.
  • Provide resources, tools, and support for new technologies and initiatives.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks for optimal equipment performance.
  • Ensure proper cable management.
  • Communicate technology issues, outcomes, needs, and costs weekly.
  • Set up new hire accounts and reset passwords as necessary.
  • Be available for on-site or phone troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in technology maintenance and troubleshooting is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary.
  • Transportation is required for travel between restaurant locations.
