About the position

The Operations/Test Analyst III - Data Links position at JT4, LLC involves providing engineering and technical support for various military test ranges. The role focuses on analyzing data links and aircraft operations, ensuring interoperability during test missions, and operating data link equipment to gather and send data during missions. The position requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a basic understanding of Python and data link technologies.

Responsibilities

• Order aircraft data for specific Data Link and Aircraft.
• Run software programs or analyze data manually.
• Complete computer data transfers and proper documentation.
• Plan Data Link test missions individually or with teammates.
• Interact with other platforms to conduct Data Link Interoperability testing.
• Operate Data Link Equipment during missions to gather data and send stimulus.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of related experience or 10 years with technical training.
• Basic understanding of Python and COMMS.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic experience with tactical data link radios/terminals/gateways.
• Familiarity with Link 16 and Variable Message Format (VMF).
• Ability to read and understand military data link standards.
• Familiarity with tactical data link software like BOSS and ARMS.
• Active Secret Clearance and Security Plus Certification.
