About the position

The Training Coordinator at Cencora plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance of associates through effective training and development. This position is responsible for onboarding new hires, conducting compliance training, and retraining associates who do not meet performance standards. The Training Coordinator collaborates with supervisors to ensure a consistent onboarding experience and fosters a safety culture within the distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Train all new associates according to SOPs and processes.
  • Ensure all new hires complete compliance training according to the training schedule.
  • Coordinate safety and compliance training within the Distribution Center.
  • Retrain associates not meeting performance standards and communicate progress to supervisors.
  • Cross-train associates in other areas as needed.
  • Provide input to supervisors for associates' 30/60/90 reviews.
  • Foster a safety culture by engaging associates and driving safety initiatives.
  • Assist the Operations Training team with large initiatives as needed.
  • Support distribution center operations with other responsibilities when not conducting training.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience training, teaching, or presenting to associates.
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple and/or changing projects/priorities.
  • Ability to effectively present and respond to questions.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
