About the position

The Operations Training Coordinator at Cencora is responsible for enhancing the performance of associates through effective training and development. This full-time, onsite role involves training new hires, conducting compliance training, and ensuring a consistent onboarding experience across shifts. The coordinator will also engage in safety initiatives and assist with various operational responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Train all new hires within operations according to SOPs and processes.
  • Coordinate safety and compliance training within the Distribution Center based on the training schedule.
  • Retrain associates not meeting performance standards.
  • Cross-train associates in other areas as needed.
  • Communicate progress, risks, or concerns to associates' supervisors.
  • Provide input to supervisors for associates' 30/60/90 reviews.
  • Foster a safety culture by engaging associates and driving safety initiatives.
  • Assist the Operations Training team with large initiatives when not conducting training duties.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience training, teaching, or presenting to associates.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to effectively present and respond to questions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple and/or changing projects/priorities.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to review data, interpret, and make appropriate adjustments.
