About the position

The Operations Utility Associate at PepsiCo is a full-time, seasonal position focused on supporting manufacturing operations in the Liquids, Salts, and Logistics Departments. The role primarily involves sanitation tasks, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The associate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, handling salt filling operations, and managing logistics tasks such as washing containers and recycling materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Manufacturing Operations in Liquids, Salts & Logistics Departments.
• Perform sanitation duties including cleaning equipment and manufacturing areas.
• Operate controls on tilting stations for bins and ensure proper bag placement in assembly boxes.
• Wash all drums, pails, or containers used in manufacturing and deface labels as required.
• Bale cardboard and super sacks, and recycle bins within the plant.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements and report incidents as per company policy.
• Assist in continuous improvement programs related to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate operational issues with team leaders.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and overtime.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven to work and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for long periods of time (6+ hours/day).
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, go up/down stairs and twist for long periods of time (6+ hours/day).
• Positive work attitude and excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Quality-focused with an excellent safety record.
