About the position

The position involves providing essential support, planning, and coordination of materials to project teams within the Operational Services Department. The role requires maintaining and delivering tools, equipment, and resources to work crews, with autonomy in making business decisions that impact team operations. The successful candidate will work closely with a motivated team and receive guidance from supervisors and experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and fill all requests for tools and equipment generated by Project Managers and Field personnel.
  • Maintain and update records via the ERP system (Viewpoint Vista).
  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine necessary details and share progress and expected delivery dates, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Maintain daily and weekly schedule of deliveries to ensure efficiency and adherence to job delivery deadlines.
  • Manage stock control, including receipt, storage, and retrieval of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse and logistics health and safety requirements, including load securement and road worthiness.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding area.
  • Occasionally make deliveries if no other resources are available.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Self-starter/motivated individual who works independently.
  • Driver record free of moving violations or accidents and the ability to drive company vehicles safely.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Above average computer skills with database experience.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment, trailers, and warehousing equipment and vehicles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Valid CDL strongly preferred.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Specific expertise in both heavy equipment and boom equipped vehicles (i.e., aerial devices).
  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Ability to flex your schedule during peak demands.
