Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
• Start up, adjust, and shut down the extruder and auxiliary equipment.
• Read, operate, and understand all controls and warning devices.
• Make adjustments for die, motor RPM, temperature, and pipe wall as per manufacturing standards.
• Perform detailed and accurate record-keeping in the computer data system.
• Inspect pipe on-line and each finished pack or reel before adding to inventory.
• Prepare production reports and maintain records of machine settings.
• Monitor and make machine adjustments to ensure product quality and optimal output.
• Demonstrate the ability to make die changes.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience or training necessary.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
