About the position

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking an Operator 2 - Test Mark Operator for the Day Shift. This role is crucial in ensuring that Vishay products meet and exceed quality and customer expectations. The Operator will be responsible for checking the production traveler to confirm that the previous steps have been completed and that proper documentation is in place before moving on to the next station. The position involves setting up the workstation and performing all necessary checks as specified for the assigned workstation. Quality checks are a key part of the role, ensuring that production meets the required standards throughout the assigned shift. The Operator will also be responsible for signing off on the production traveler with the date, employee number, and other required information, and placing the production traveler with the order. This position is vital to maintaining the high standards of production that Vishay is known for, and it offers opportunities for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Check production traveler to ensure previous steps have been completed and proper documentation is in place before sending to the next station.
• Set up workstation and perform all required checks as specified for the assigned workstation.
• Conduct quality checks during the assigned shift to ensure quality production.
• Sign off on production traveler with date, employee number, and other required information.
• Place production traveler with the order.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior production experience is desirable.
• Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
