About the position

The Assistant Operator position at Pregis LLC is designed to support the Coex Operator in the production of high-quality packaging products. This role focuses on safely and efficiently setting up and operating the COEX production line, ensuring that manufacturing and quality standards are met. The Assistant Operator will learn the operation of the COEX line and assist in various tasks to facilitate smooth production processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the COEX production line for various products.
• Safely and efficiently produce product on assigned production area.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Read a tape measure to 1/32”.
• Assist maintenance as required and perform minor maintenance repairs and PM's.
• Keep work areas clean following 5S guidelines.
• Keep all tools and equipment in proper places.
• Assist on or operate other converting or manufacturing equipment and perform preventative maintenance within the plant as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate (read and write) in English.
• Ability to work in high temperatures and humidity for extended periods.
• Physical capability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
