The Machine Operator - Saw position at Royston Group involves operating various machinery within a sheet metal manufacturing facility. Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery, such as cutting machines, bending machines, and welding machines.
• Inspect finished products, components, and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, reporting any defects or issues to supervisors.
• Perform tasks such as cleaning work areas, removing debris, assisting with equipment setup and breakdown, and other general labor duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to achieve production goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• 1 year of sheet metal manufacturing experience is preferred.
