About the position

BEPC is seeking Operators for a 12-month contract position in Irving, TX, responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices. The role involves assembly, repair, and testing of medical devices under close supervision, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
• Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers and related medical devices.
• Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date.
• Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing management.
• Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Maintain accurate records for quality assurance and traceability of parts.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel.
