About The Position
We are seeking a part-time ophthalmologist to join our thriving practice in Tamarac, Florida, which is conveniently located near Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, as effective communication with our diverse patient base is essential. Depending on the candidate's preference, we offer flexible contract options, including W2 employment or independent contractor agreements. While we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in glaucoma, cataract surgery, and medical retina, these specialties are not mandatory. Our private practice has expanded significantly and now features seven exam rooms, a dedicated surgery room, and a state-of-the-art diagnostic testing room equipped with advanced technology for cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, and visual acuity testing. Our team consists of highly skilled ophthalmologists who have received prestigious awards, such as the James H. Allen Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology, and have contributed to numerous ophthalmological publications. For over 40 years, we have proudly served Broward County, providing a comprehensive range of eye care services, including thorough eye exams for both adults and children, specialized neuro-ophthalmology evaluations, diabetic and glaucoma care, dry eye treatment, and ocular allergy management. We also offer vision correction procedures, eyelid surgery, LASIK, BOTOX, cataract refractive surgery, and in-house laser treatments for glaucoma. Our in-house optical service, Clear View Optical, further enhances the patient experience by providing convenient access to eyewear solutions.
