About the position

The Ophthalmology Sales Representative at Inizio Engage is responsible for building strategic account plans and understanding customer needs to drive sales for key targets. This role involves demonstrating expertise in the marketplace and fostering strong professional relationships with healthcare providers to enhance patient care and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs office staff and others in the patient care continuum.
  • Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by providing knowledge, experience, and information.
  • Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Pharma sales experience
  • Specialty Sales experience highly preferred
  • Ophthalmology experience preferred
  • Documented history of sales success
  • Team-based selling or collaborative selling
  • Ability to travel overnight if required
