About the position

The Opioid Restitution Program Manager will oversee project management and coordination for the Baltimore City's Opioid Restitution Fund, ensuring alignment with the city-wide response to the overdose crisis. This role involves collaboration with city agencies, community partners, and the Restitution Advisory Board to manage funding processes, reporting, and community engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and coordination to support the city-wide response to the overdose crisis.
• Support the meetings and functions of the Restitution Advisory Board, ensuring public involvement and transparency in fund allocation.
• Engage with community members and stakeholders around overdose prevention and program implementation.
• Coordinate reporting for the Opioid Restitution Fund, including the city-wide overdose strategy and annual reports to the Mayor and City Council.
• Serve as a liaison to the Mayor's Office of Recovery Programs to ensure effective fund disbursement.
• Manage day-to-day program needs and quality.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public health programming, focusing on substance use disorder or behavioral healthcare.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations in a non-judgmental manner.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Experience working with local, state, or Federal agencies to advance health equity and social justice.
• Personal experience impacted by the overdose crisis.
