About the position
The Ops Lead position at FedEx involves coordinating operations within the service area, overseeing performance, and leading employees. This role includes providing training, coaching, and mentoring to both new and current employees while performing necessary administrative functions. Responsibilities
- Coordinate operations within the service area.
- Perform the check ride function.
- Direct work activities and lead employees.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to new and current employees.
- Perform associated administrative functions as required or directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Eighteen (18) months courier experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
