About the position

The Ops Planner/Scheduler for Demand at Sherwin-Williams is responsible for managing the product lifecycle process, including vendor managed inventory, forecasting, and scheduling activities to ensure effective supply chain operations. This role aims to improve customer satisfaction and overall supply chain effectiveness by accurately forecasting demand and balancing production with inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage Vendor Managed Inventory, including online replenishment and SKU forecasting.
• Assist in the product lifecycle process, including new product introductions and disposition of discontinued products.
• Continuously improve the accuracy of demand forecasts for finished goods.
• Plan and control scheduling activities for assigned plants.
• Balance production and inventory levels with demand to meet customer service and inventory goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Operations, or Sales.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain related field.
• APICS CPIM Certification.
• Experience with Blue Yonder Solutions, Business Objects-DSF & SCIS, MES, QAD, REACH, AOM, IVAN.
• Procurement, Technical or Manufacturing experience within the coatings industry.
