About the position

As a member of our Operations team at ZB RX Medical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the daily fulfillment and distribution of Zimmer Biomet surgical implants, devices, and instruments. This position is designed for self-motivated and customer-oriented individuals who are eager to make a daily impact on the lives of others. You will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of products and services to our representatives and customers, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, as well as warehouse inventory cycle counting to optimize inventory utilization. In this position, you will prepare, ship, receive, and schedule the delivery of products, ensuring timely delivery of sets and the pick-up and return of loaner sets. You will also be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, directing them to the appropriate branch personnel as needed. Your responsibilities will include arranging merchandise for transport, both for delivery and return, and at customer locations. You will need to read maps and understand route configurations to ensure efficient delivery. Safety is paramount, and you will perform safety inspections in a transportation setting to maintain compliance and safety standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, or stacking containers, materials, or products, and providing excellent customer service in surface transportation. Regular maintenance of the company delivery vehicle will also be part of your duties, including scheduling preventative and regular minor maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance records, and advising your supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required. You will record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records and address customer complaints as necessary, communicating effectively with branch team members. Your role may also involve providing warehouse support when needed, checking for sterility, and assisting with cycle counting scans. You will leverage hospital relationships to influence purchase order collection and relay surgery schedules when available. Participation in an on-call rotation may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the distribution and delivery of products/services for representatives and customers.
  • Accurate inventory tracking and record keeping.
  • Warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization.

  • Ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets.
  • Field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel.
  • Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations.
  • Read maps and route configuration for efficient delivery.
  • Perform safety inspections in transportation setting.
  • Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products.
  • Provide customer service in surface transportation.
  • Perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records for the company vehicle.
  • Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle.
  • Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
  • Record transactions and issues on customer receipts.
  • Field customer complaints and communicate as necessary to Branch team members.
  • Create and/or review lists of delivery and pick-ups.
  • Provide Warehouse support when needed.
  • Check for sterility, missing/broken implants & instruments.
  • Assist with Cycle Counting scans and leverage hospital relationships to influence PO collection.
  • Relay surgery schedules when available.
  • Participate with On-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 0+ Years of experience required; training provided.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
