About the position

The Senior Acquisition Logistics Manager at Tyto Athene, LLC will support the SSC Product Support Manager within the SSC's SDA&CP Directorate. This role is crucial in providing subject matter expertise in the planning, procurement, deployment, and sustainment of advanced electronic warfare and space systems, ensuring the nation's warfighters have the necessary capabilities for space superiority. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires a deep understanding of acquisition program management and logistics lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and consultation in acquisition program management and logistics lifecycle activities.
  • Advise the Materiel Leader and Senior USSF and Air Force Leadership on acquisition strategies and product support.
  • Facilitate program management and logistics activities between operational stakeholders and developmental programs.
  • Present information clearly to stakeholders and Senior Military Leadership on program milestones.
  • Conduct acquisition/sustainment technical analyses including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Facilitate Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) efforts for funding delivery.
  • Contribute to strategic acquisition planning and pre-award documentation.
  • Lead solicitation planning and execution activities and documentation.
  • Manage overarching program planning and execution documents as per DoDI 5000.02 and relevant policies.
  • Draft technical evaluations and advise in source selections.
  • Support acquisition programs with performance and schedule execution responsibilities.
  • Lead integrated scheduling and risk management activities for Operations Integration, Logistics, and Product Support.
  • Prepare program scheduling activities, meetings, briefings, and reports.
  • Support operations training and technical documentation development.
  • Coordinate with operations and development stakeholders for information critical to development.
  • Review and provide input to enabling concepts and multi-agency agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 10 or more years of DoD and related Space operations experience
  • Experience with Air Force and/or Space Force operations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated competency in technical writing
  • Familiarity operating under agile conditions as a member of a Scrum team
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Familiar with MS Office products
  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams of Military and technical managers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree
  • Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe) certification
  • 15 or more years of DoD and/or Space Operations experience
  • Certification by Defense Acquisition University Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) curriculum
  • Familiarity working with or at the Combined Space Operations Center
  • Experience navigating the Air Force's cloud-based DevSecOps Platform One
  • Experience as a Product Repository technician or lead.
