The Optical Retail Sales Associate at Eyemart Express is responsible for guiding patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by using optical expertise to meet customer needs.
• Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the Point of Sale system.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care and maintenance.
• Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Create and manage patient files with confidentiality in mind.
• Interpret prescription requirements and ensure accuracy in orders.
• Take necessary measurements and prepare work orders for lab technicians.
• Inspect final products for accuracy before dispensing to patients.
• Adjust and repair frames as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Price, stock, and organize merchandise in the store.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Optical industry experience is a plus!
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
