The Optical Retail Sales Associate at Eyemart Express is responsible for guiding patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by using optical expertise to meet customer needs.
- Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
- Process payments and refunds using the Point of Sale system.
- Educate patients on eyeglass care and maintenance.
- Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Create and manage patient files with confidentiality in mind.
- Interpret prescription requirements and ensure accuracy in orders.
- Take necessary measurements and prepare work orders for lab technicians.
- Inspect final products for accuracy before dispensing to patients.
- Adjust and repair frames as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Price, stock, and organize merchandise in the retail space.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Optical industry experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
