About the position
Wigton Eye Care Associates is seeking an Optician to join their dedicated team in Butler, PA. This role focuses on providing high-quality personalized eye care, fitting and adjusting eyewear, and assisting patients in selecting appropriate options based on their individual needs. The Optician will also be responsible for interpreting insurance benefits and ensuring accurate order placements, all while demonstrating the core values of the practice.
Responsibilities
- Fit, adjust, and repair eyewear
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge
- Recommend specific options based on individual patient needs
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear
- Interpret and apply insurance benefits and discounts
- Place orders and verify the accuracy of completed orders
- Schedule appointments and respond to patient inquiries
Requirements
- Dedicated to consistently demonstrate excellent patient care
- Open and willing to learn, receptive to feedback
- Positive, solution-oriented and organized, able to multi-task
- Previous experience is a plus, but is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
