This full-time position focuses on providing excellent customer service while assisting patients in selecting eyewear that suits their lifestyle and fashion preferences. The role involves interpreting prescriptions, educating patients on lens options, and managing insurance claims, all while utilizing the latest technology in eye care. On-site training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the optical industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent warm customer service with a smile.
• Assist patients in choosing the perfect frame to suit their fashion.
• Interpret prescriptions and educate patients on the latest lens options.
• Order lenses and frames while applying patient insurance benefits.
• File insurance claims.
• Troubleshoot patient vision complaints and concerns along with any issues with glasses.
• Dispense eyewear and make adjustments to the frame for a better fit.

Requirements

• Desire to help people and a friendly personality suited for a sales-like position from a medical perspective.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions and educate patients on eyewear options.
• Sales experience is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in the optical industry (1 year preferred).
