The Optimization Services Manager will play a critical role in the customer's innovation and transformation journey. We aim to create and protect customer value by delivering unique tightening optimization services and solutions both on-site in factory production and in the laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual business plan focused on growth by increasing customers, sales of optimization services, and Data Driven Services solutions.
  • Lead our strategy to communicate our value to the customer and drive actions needed to support renewals, negotiations, and price optimization.
  • Create and protect customer value through process optimization, joint analysis, and external training, while motivating and inspiring sales teams to actively promote Optimization services.
  • Maintain expert status in all technical aspects of optimization service products and assist Sales in becoming product experts, working closely with them to ensure we become the industry leader in selling and creating value with Optimization services.
  • Collaborate with the product company, refining optimization service products and solutions, driving strategic goals with individual creativity.
  • Inspire, lead, and coach a team of tightening service professionals in the field and lab environments fostering a collaborative environment where innovative ideas and problem-solving are celebrated.
  • Use the Atlas Copco Strategic Partnership Sales strategy to build value-based marketing material so that we meet the Industry 4.0 vision of our customers with our optimization service solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of customers, have great customer management skills, and a willingness and desire to reach the appropriate customer levels to ensure success.
  • Understand competitive service offering to identify our unique selling points and to create return on investment justification when selling against them.
  • Oversee optimization service agreements ensuring contract deliverables are achieved, continuous improvement of customer maintenance, production, and quality is realized, cost savings/avoidances are quantified, and track and manage internal and customer KPIs, resolving any performance obstacles.
  • Prepare and present justifications for optimization contract services illustrating return on investment, cost savings and avoidance, and payback period to various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
  • Core Competency: Strong skills in budget management, KPI achievement, and process optimization.
  • Technical aptitude: Experience with manufacturing future technologies and IT technologies is a plus.
  • Travel-ready: Regular travel as needed for customer visits and sales engagement (estimated 25%).
  • Presentation skills: Expert-level presentation skills and high comfort level in front of a camera while producing video training content for internal and external use.
  • Proven track record: Ability to develop functional teams while creating and protecting value to customers.
  • Computer skills: Maintain expert status in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint).
