About the position
The Optimized Mill Lining Product Support Manager will serve as the primary link between Market Area and End Customers, Business Line specialists, and Supply Chain. This role focuses on championing customer success, optimizing mill lining solutions, and building long-term relationships with clients. The position requires up to 30% travel and involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders to deliver customized solutions and support customer needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Identify customer goals and deliver compelling value-added sales arguments.
- Visit customers to provide support as needed, with up to 30% travel.
- Identify opportunities for liner design application and optimization, including material selection, profiles, liner size, and layouts.
- Develop detailed knowledge and follow customers over extended periods.
- Track predictions and results, focusing on wear and mill performance.
- Use wear analysis and simulations to provide performance guarantees and promote solutions.
- Support quality and warranty claims investigations and resolutions.
- Proactively set up optimization projects to generate reference cases and support future business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with relevant products.
- Familiarity with Mill Lining products is desirable.
- High understanding of and experience in support roles.
- Deep understanding of grinding processes and mill operations.
- Proven experience in product management, sales, or technical support in the capital equipment or Mill Lining industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Fluency in English; Spanish is beneficial.
