About the position
We are looking for a detailed, highly motivated individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician/Receptionist. This role is essential in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. The primary responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and working directly with patients to assist them throughout their visit. Additionally, the technician will perform all pre-tests required for eye exams, ensuring that all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently. All members of our staff are cross-trained for all positions, which fosters a collaborative environment and allows for flexibility in task assignments. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure, as you will be interacting with patients and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Computer and typing skills are preferred, but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment. The work location is in-person at our office located at 1251 US Highway 31 N, Greenwood, IN 46142.
