About The Position

There is a fantastic opportunity for an Optometrist at Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care location in Indianapolis, Indiana! Looking for full-time, part-time, and floaters. There is a $10k Sign-On Bonus for this position! As a well-respected, multi-location practice serving Hoosiers throughout the greater Indianapolis area, Dr. Tavel Family Eye Care continues to thrive, and a long-term opportunity is now available for the right Optometrist. If you're looking for an opportunity to grow with a solid private practice where your efforts will directly impact the success of the business, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The practice is offering the following benefits: $165K minimum for 5 days per week (prorated for part time work). Pay could be significantly higher as it will be based upon production but this is guaranteed minimum. Full benefits package- health insurance (and dental), 401k (no match), CE reimbursement program, 3 weeks PTO, 1 CE PTO Day, 6 Paid holidays, 75% of AOA/IOA dues paid, Maternity/Parental leave. $10k signing bonus. OPTOS on site (free screener for every patient) and we can commit to a visual field and OCT so you can practice full scope. If you're willing to see 4 minimum per hour we can commit to a full tech workup as well.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive exams
  • Diagnose and manage ocular disease
  • Handle eye care emergencies
  • Build solid doctor-patient relationships
  • Seamlessly hand off patients to the optical team
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
  • Support the expansion of contact lens service
  • Grow the medical management side of the business
