Eye Society is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our team in Chicago, IL. We practice full-scope optometry and are equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment, including an OCT, Optos, Anterior segment camera, Virtual Visual fields, and Radio Frequency. Our focus is on providing comprehensive eye care and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service. As an Optometrist at Eye Society, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, conducting thorough eye exams, and fitting patients with soft and specialty contact lenses. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients.
- Diagnose and treat various eye diseases and conditions.
- Fit patients with soft contact lenses and specialty contact lenses, including Scleral Lenses, Hybrid Lenses, and Myopia Control Lenses.
- Perform Dry Eye evaluations and provide treatments using various instruments and therapies.
- Deliver excellent patient care and maintain a customer service-oriented approach.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- State licensure to practice optometry in Illinois.
- Experience in fitting specialty contact lenses is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment such as OCT and Optos.
