Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect eye diseases or abnormalities
• Diagnose vision problems and eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, medications, or other treatments as needed
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions regarding their eye health
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
