About the position

KU MedWest Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN to join a dedicated team in a busy outpatient surgery center. The role focuses on providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures while working collaboratively with a professional team. Responsibilities

• Self-directed and able to work autonomously
• Prioritize patient care and task completion
• Provide exceptional patient care to patients during surgical procedures
• Communicate well with patients, families, teammates, physicians, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain a friendly, approachable, and 'team first' attitude
• Perform duties within facility and nursing scope of practice
• Follow established facility policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current unrestricted KS nursing license required (or appropriate multi-state license)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required within 90 days of hire
• A minimum of 2 years operating room/surgical experience
• Experience with an EMR (Epic)
• ASC experience preferred
