About the position

The OR Data Analyst will act as the technical lead responsible for the installation, management, and support of both clinical and non-clinical systems. This role involves serving as a technical liaison between the vendor and the SBH department, ensuring effective communication and support for the installed software. A strong technical background in networking, SQL queries, analytics, and reporting is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the installation and management of clinical and non-clinical systems.
• Act as a technical liaison between the vendor and SBH department.
• Support and manage installed software systems.
• Analyze and report on data related to healthcare operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Two to four years of active and progressive experience in a healthcare environment.
• Prior experience with healthcare information systems, including installations and upgrades.
• Knowledge of complex hospital operations.
• Proficiency in Networking and Transact SQL.
• Ability to create moderately complex SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good PC and LAN skills.
