About the position

The OR Supply Chain Technician at HCA Healthcare is responsible for managing the supply chain within the operating room, ensuring that all necessary supplies are ordered, received, and distributed efficiently. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality patient care by managing inventory levels, performing quality assurance checks, and supporting the overall supply chain operations in the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Order, receive, deliver, and put-away all OR supplies in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform inventory management for the OR, including evaluating Min/Max levels and counting PAR level areas.
  • Process returns appropriately per policy and perform case picking for scheduled, add-on, and emergent cases.
  • Ensure items have the appropriate MedTag barcodes and perform expiration checks according to policy.
  • Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices as authorized.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous inventory management experience is helpful preferred.
  • Some hospital supply experience preferred.
