The Corporate IT team is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS DBA who can also support Microsoft SQL Databases and has a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is critical for managing and maintaining our Oracle Database, Application, and Microsoft SQL environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) components, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle technologies and cloud administration, demonstrating a proven track record of ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. Key responsibilities include the development support and maintenance of Oracle ERP and MS SQL databases, with a solid understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Microsoft SQL. Certification in these areas is a plus. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as an Oracle and/or Microsoft APPS/DB Administrator, with a focus on using and supporting OCI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and IaaS. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. The DBA will manage and monitor EBS modules, concurrent managers, workflows, and custom applications, while also handling cloning, backup, and recovery operations for EBS environments. Ensuring compliance with security standards and troubleshooting application issues in collaboration with functional and development teams is also essential. In addition to Oracle EBS administration, the DBA will be responsible for Oracle Database Administration, which includes administering Oracle Databases (12c, 19c, or later), performing database tuning, optimization, and query performance improvements, and implementing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. The DBA will also monitor database health, security, and performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and conduct regular backups, restores, and data migrations as needed. The role also encompasses Oracle SOA Administration, where the DBA will install, configure, and manage Oracle SOA Suite, deploy and troubleshoot SOA composites, web services, and integrations, and optimize SOA performance. Cloud administration responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other cloud platforms, automating cloud resource provisioning, and managing cloud networking, storage, and security configurations. Security and compliance are paramount, with the DBA expected to implement security best practices and ensure systems comply with regulatory standards such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX. Regularly applying security patches and managing vulnerability assessments and remediation are also part of the role. The DBA will monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and fine-tune performance across EBS, database, SOA, and cloud environments. Additionally, the DBA will develop and maintain comprehensive backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies, perform regular DR drills, and provide L2/L3 support for EBS, database, SOA, and cloud issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integrations, upgrades, and migrations.
