About the position

CACI is seeking a highly skilled Oracle APEX Application Developer to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying Oracle APEX applications while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality application delivery. The developer will provide technical expertise, conduct feasibility analyses, optimize performance, and maintain data integrity and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle APEX applications.
• Develop code in Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Perform complex data analysis and manipulation to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues across business areas and different technologies.
• Optimize database and application performance, including tuning PL/SQL code and indexing strategies.
• Implement reliable and efficient data integration and automation services.
• Work within an agile development environment, utilizing agile methodologies and practices.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, and implement improvements in collaboration with business clients and IT staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of data structures, queries, reports, and development processes.
• Manage quality assurance and testing efforts to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Ensure applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Apply business process improvement practices to enhance application development and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL and Oracle RDBMS.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
• Familiarity with standard business processes and reporting.
• Agile mindset with the ability to decompose complex projects into executable pieces.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with JIRA.
