About the position

The Oracle Application Developer role involves developing and maintaining Oracle applications using the Oracle Applications Development Framework (ADF). The position requires collaboration with other developers to create software that meets business needs while adhering to established design patterns. The developer will be responsible for coding, testing, and debugging applications, as well as troubleshooting production issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other developers to produce working software that delivers business value.
• Develop, code, or modify, test, and debug application programs of varying degrees of complexity.
• Troubleshoot production problems within assigned application software.

Requirements

• Oracle Applications Development Framework (ADF) experience.
• Experience with Java/J2EE and Windows.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including quality gates (inspections, unit testing, early integration testing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with customers.
• Proven ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with FDA Multi-Zone Architecture.
• Experience with SOA, WebLogic, JAX-WS, REST-WS, .Net, and Oracle WebCenter Portal framework.
• Experience with Subversion.
• Experience with Agile practices.
