A prestigious company is seeking an Oracle Applications DBA Tech Lead/Manager for a permanent full-time role. This position is hands-on and will focus on all Oracle ERP applications, with a significant emphasis on Oracle EBS (11i/R12). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and will be responsible for overseeing both the physical and application aspects of the database environment. This includes managing storage, security, networking, and ensuring that database resources are appropriately sized and maintained for optimal performance. In this role, you will ensure the availability and performance of multi-database and application environments that handle large volumes of data. You will manage the Oracle Cloud OCI platform, maintaining ongoing integrations and configurations to keep the Cloud platform in a healthy state. Routine DBA tasks such as database maintenance, backups, recovery, and upgrades will be part of your responsibilities. You will also execute periodic health checks for databases and recommend necessary changes to enhance production environment performance. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will interact with multiple infrastructure, security, and IT teams to support environment setup and maintenance. You will plan and respond to service outages, monitor system performance, diagnose software and hardware failures, and provide patch management to mitigate new threats. Additionally, you will create and test data backups, perform data cleansing, verify data integrity, and implement access controls. Your role will also involve database configuration, monitoring, tuning, and routine maintenance tasks such as problem defect analysis, space management, and ensuring system health and security. You will maintain Oracle Quarterly Releases and patch management schedules while supporting systems development, migration, and integration efforts as needed. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle EBS and ERP Cloud applications, making you a significant contributor to the overall success of the IT infrastructure.
