About The Position
The Oracle Apps DBA position involves managing and maintaining the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) as part of the Application Database Administration (DBA) team. This role is crucial for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the Oracle EBS environment. The DBA will be responsible for database installation, configuration, and upgrades, as well as monitoring and tuning the database for optimal performance. Additionally, the DBA will handle backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of system failures. The position requires collaboration with application developers and system administrators to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues as they arise. In this part-time role, the DBA will also be expected to document processes and procedures related to database management and provide support for user access and security management. The DBA will play a key role in implementing best practices for database management and will be involved in capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure the database environment meets the needs of the organization. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in work location while still requiring on-site presence in Minneapolis, MN as needed.
