About the position

The Oracle Apps OPM Consultant position is designed for individuals with a strong background in Oracle Applications, specifically in the area of Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM). The consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle OPM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Oracle Applications ecosystem and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The consultant will work closely with clients to assess their needs, design effective solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. In this role, the consultant will engage in various phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and user training. The consultant will also be expected to troubleshoot issues, provide ongoing support, and recommend best practices to optimize the use of Oracle OPM. Strong communication skills are essential, as the consultant will interact with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful Oracle OPM implementations and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. They should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on Oracle OPM implementations, upgrades, and support.
  • Engage in requirements gathering and analysis to understand client needs.
  • Design and configure Oracle OPM solutions based on business requirements.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality meets specifications.
  • Deliver user training and support to ensure successful adoption of the system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle OPM applications.
  • Recommend best practices and process improvements for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Oracle Applications.
  • At least one end-to-end implementation experience with Oracle OPM.
  • Experience in upgrade and support projects for Oracle OPM.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Oracle OPM functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional Oracle modules related to manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for reporting and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
