About the position
The Oracle Apps Techno/Functional Consultant role is focused on providing technical and functional expertise in Oracle Applications, specifically in Transportation Management (TM). This position requires a blend of strong communication skills and extensive experience to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle Applications for the organization. The consultant will work onsite in Charlotte, NC, for four days a week, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Techno/Functional expert in Oracle Applications with a focus on Transportation Management (TM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Oracle TM enhancements.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution of system problems.
- Develop and modify Oracle TM configurations, customizations, reports, and workflows as needed.
- Partner with the business to optimize system functionalities and processes.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Apps Techno/Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (TM) modules.
- Proven track record of working with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations.
- Ability to design, develop, and support Oracle Apps solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with integrating Oracle TM with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with project lifecycle methodologies and agile frameworks.
- Knowledge of other Oracle modules and associated functionalities.
