About the position

The Oracle Cloud Business Analyst Finance will act as a crucial functional resource for The Chemical Guys' Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, focusing on various financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Costing. This role involves addressing user service requests, implementing enhancements, and redesigning processes to optimize ERP software usage.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams for system processes implementation.
  • Identify and document technical and functional gaps in the current ERP implementation.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to improve the ERP implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage additional features within the software to enhance business operations.
  • Provide functional support to end users, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve transaction and dataflow issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-6 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud business analyst.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Inter Company Accounting, and Costing.
  • Experience with process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering, and analysis.
  • Minimum of 2 large scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.
  • Proven project delivery through full life cycle from requirements to deployment/support.
  • Experience with Oracle Reporting tools like FRS, Smart View, OTBI, BI Reports, QlikView, and/or Tableau.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis.
