About the position
The Oracle Cloud Financial Analyst will serve as a business analyst focused on analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into system specifications for IT teams. This role is essential for ensuring that technology initiatives align with business strategies, enhancing performance and productivity through effective cross-team collaboration. The position requires a strong work ethic, adaptability, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and document requirements for Oracle Cloud financial systems.
- Translate business requirements into system specifications for IT implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business strategies.
- Lead business requirements gathering sessions to identify and document necessary solutions.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of finance disciplines such as Accounts Payable, Accounting, Fixed Assets, Forecasting, and Budgeting.
- Practical experience in business process modeling, user journeys, and data flows.
- Working knowledge of financial management systems as part of ERP, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management.
- Outstanding analytical skills in identifying, documenting, and analyzing business solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Mathematics with 3-5 years in business or technical analysis.
- Oracle Certification(s) in financial management modules of Oracle Fusion ERP.
Nice-to-haves
- General knowledge of tools or systems such as Oracle Fusion, Workday, Concur, Jira, Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
- Some experience with programming languages.
