Deloitte Oracle Cloud SCM Managers help clients delineate strategy and vision, design and implement process and systems which align with business objectives and have a measurable impact on growth. As a Diamond-level member of the Oracle Partner Network, Deloitte needs thought leaders to help pave the way for our clients and Oracle service line development. For our clients, our Oracle Cloud SCM Managers reduce cost and support innovation at the enterprise level by managing business requirements and leading the functional design, prototyping and process design stages of Oracle Cloud implementations. This role is crucial in transforming the business landscape for our clients, driving transformation, improving productivity, and streamlining business operations. In this position, you will manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors, ensuring that their needs are met and that the project is aligned with their strategic goals. You will also be responsible for managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. This includes managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Additionally, you will develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. As a leader, you will perform the role of counselor and coach, providing input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies.
  • Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams.
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • Perform the role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process.
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements

  • Full lifecycle Oracle Cloud SCM implementation experience as a functional resource.
  • Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs), functional configuration, testing, and client user training.
  • Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to start no later than 8/12/24.

Nice-to-haves

  • Functional implementation experience with 4+ complex, full lifecycle Oracle Cloud SCM implementations.
  • 10+ years' experience implementing a combination of Oracle SCM - Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), Plan-to-Deliver (PTD), Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, Global Order Promising (GOP), Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Advanced Pricing, iSupplier, iProcurement, Costing or Configurator.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization.
  • Experience leading an entire work stream of relevant Oracle applications.
