As an Oracle Compensation Engineer/Business Analyst at Optum, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the compensation processes within a large organization. This position combines project management, business liaison, and technical/functional skills, allowing you to engage with complex business rules and requirements. You will be part of a dynamic team that addresses the unique challenges of supporting a diverse workforce, ensuring that the compensation systems are configured and managed effectively. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Compensation Center of Excellence (COE), providing high levels of service and adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the compensation requirements and processes, which will enable you to support the setup and configuration of Compensation/Comp Planner and CoreHR related tables. This includes managing grades, grade rates, and compensation zones, ensuring that the systems are aligned with the organization's goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for Oracle vendor management, which involves preparing for and conducting Oracle release notes review meetings, submitting service requests, and working with Oracle to resolve any issues that arise. Your role will also include conducting various testing phases such as regression testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT). You will manage the production migration schedule for Compensation in collaboration with other modules such as Oracle Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management, ensuring seamless integration across the systems.
