Responsibilities
- Handle multifunctional database projects.
- Administer development/test databases.
- Design, implement and maintain new databases.
- Perform backup/recovery and configuration management.
- Install database management systems (DBMS) and related software tools.
- Submit input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
- A minimum of 3 or more years of Oracle DBA experience in a production environment
- A minimum of 2 or more years of SQL programming and performance tuning
- A minimum of 2 or more years of Backup/Recovery
- A minimum of 2 or more years shell scripting (Linux/Unix)
Nice-to-haves
- Relevant DB certifications
- Cloud experience (AWS, Oracle, Azure, Google)
- Experience with other DB platforms
- Willingness to undergo future background check/clearance processes if needed.
