About the position

The Oracle Database Administrator for Data Warehouse at ArnAmy, Inc. will play a crucial role in supporting the Florida PALM (Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management) Project. This position involves providing IT staff augmentation services to assist with the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Data Warehouse Business Intelligence reporting solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of Oracle data warehouse and business intelligence tools, which are essential for the project's success. The role requires a deep understanding of database design, administration, and data modeling, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve gaps in database tables and reports. The candidate will be expected to have a strong background in implementing and maintaining Oracle data warehouse solutions, including tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytical Server (OAS), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Additionally, experience with data modeling, metadata management, and business intelligence tools is essential. The role demands analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders and ensure that the data solutions meet the project's requirements. Candidates should also be prepared to work closely with government entities, leveraging their experience in similar environments to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities

  • Provide IT staff augmentation services for the Florida PALM Project.
  • Assist with the implementation of ERP and Data Warehouse Business Intelligence reporting solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Oracle data warehouse and business intelligence tools.
  • Analyze database tables, materialized views, and reports to identify gaps and determine appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum years of experience in Data Warehouse implementation, database design, and administration.
  • Experience with Oracle data warehouse and business intelligence tools such as OAC, OAS, OCI, OBI, and ODI.
  • Experience with data modeling (logical and semantic) and metadata management.
  • Familiarity with SQL, OLAP, ETL processes, Informatica, Tidal, and Business Intelligence Applications.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with state or local government entities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Project.
  • Experience implementing PeopleSoft in local and state government.
  • Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.59+ and fluid page development.
  • Certifications such as Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist, or Oracle Certified Professional.
