About the position

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining backend Oracle 19c databases on Linux servers, supporting mission-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies and collaborate with a skilled team, while also contributing to the design and architecture of database systems. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and emphasizes a culture of accountability and employee ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain backend Oracle 19c databases on Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Perform regular backup and maintenance tasks for databases.
• Develop and implement interactive analytic reports and dashboards.
• Work with business users to establish reporting and analytic requirements.

Requirements

• Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with Business Intelligence experience.
• Current CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required.
• Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator/Database Developer.
• Demonstrated expertise with Oracle RMAN for archiving and disaster recovery.
• Experience managing Oracle databases on Linux and Windows platforms.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database 12c and later, including Oracle Advanced Security and Oracle Label Security.
• Experience with Oracle database maintenance, including monitoring and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in developing stored procedures and triggers.
• Hands-on experience developing queries and performing SQL performance tuning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms, such as Oracle BI Publisher/OBIEE.
• Skilled in creating RTF/PDF Templates for BI Publisher Reports & OBIEE Catalog Maintenance.
• Understanding of Oracle BI & BI Publisher security models and implementation.
