In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily database administration functions, which include monitoring performance, developing queries and reports based on customer requirements, modifying or developing database views, and managing backup and recovery operations. You will design the logical data relationships and query structures of new databases, taking into account various factors such as access methods, access frequency, storage media, data volatility, query requirements, and operating environments. This is crucial for supporting insider threat detection application software and data analysis. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing enterprise database strategies for functions such as backup, recovery, and data migration, while also sustaining existing Data Warehouse and application databases. Your role will involve evaluating data sets and engineering solutions for integrating them into the Data Warehouse. You will also develop, sustain, and preserve user manuals and instructions that guide customers in executing data access functions, such as running queries and reports. Collaboration is key, as you will participate in multi-functional teams and manage your work through JIRA, ensuring that all tasks are tracked and completed efficiently.
