About The Position
Infosys is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator who will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing database systems. This position requires interfacing with key stakeholders to apply technical proficiency in database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of Oracle databases, while also implementing best practices for database administration. The role may involve working closely with development teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot database-related issues. The candidate will also be expected to participate in database upgrades, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning. This position is based in Richardson, TX, and may require travel within the United States. Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or Richardson, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required, along with at least two years of Information Technology experience and one year of experience specifically as an Oracle Database Administrator. The role demands a proactive approach to database management and a commitment to continuous improvement in database performance and reliability.
